This composite part consists of the TEF promoter fused to a Ribosome Binding Sequence (Kozak sequence). It should be used when the part(s) immediately downstream should be translated.Notes
We designed this part to prevent ourselves from having to religate the RBS onto the promoter each time we constructed a complex system. We believe that this part will be useful for future researchers because it prevents them from having to assemble the RBS onto the promoter for each construct.Source
