Description

This is an assembly of an Deinococcus radiodurans isolated bacteriophytochrome gene with a Synechocytis heme oxygenase 1 gene. A ribosome binding site has been added. The bacteriophytochrome gene produces a protein that interacts with Biliverdin, a chromophore. The chromophore is produced by heme oxygenase degradation of heme in the heme metabolic pathway.
