Description
This is the coding sequence of crtY from Pantoea ananatis (formerly Erwinia uredovora) (Accession number D90087). It encodes lycopene B-cyclase, part of the carotenoid biosynthesis pathway, which converts lycopene to B-carotene. RNA thermometer is preceded with crtY. The RNA thermometer that can be used for temperature sensitive post-transcriptional regulation which is based on a RNA thermometer from Salmonella Enterica Tyhpy initiates translation at 37??C. Native terminator is included in the part.
Notes
CrtY expresses more quantities in 37 degree centigrade because of RNA thermometer.
Source
RNA thermometer is taken from Salmonella Enterica Tyhpy (NC_010102)).
