Description
Cas9 genome is a part of the CRISPR sequence existing in the Strep. Thermophilus LMD-9 strain. As referred by the Barrangou 2011 paper, cas9 is the only essential cas protein required for the CRISPR mechanism to express. We propose a biobrick with the cas9 site present in it as well as the promoter sigma factor 70 for its expression.
Notes
We had to mutate the restriction sites present in the cas9 sequence which are present in the biobrick.
