Description
The Spacer/Repeat Region part has been extracted from the Streptococcus Thermophilus LMD9 genome sequence. If inserted along with the CRISPR protein system and sigma factor 70, we hypothesize that the spacer/repeat region should express itself and make bacteria resistant to which the spacer region is homologous.
Notes
The sequence has the restriction sites present on the pSB1C3 backbone. We will have to subject it to mutagenesis to make the biobrick functional.
