Description

dsDNA-binding protein that contributes to the ionizing radiation resistance of Deinococcus radiodurans. Plays a role in DNA repair and genome reconstitution, and is necessary for recovery from genomic fragmentation as a result of exposure to severe levels of ionizing radiation.

Notes

We have designed part according to BBF RFC 54, which modifies the prefix and suffix to allow for the use of shorter PCR cloning primers but can be assembled in the usual way (i.e. Standard Assembly, RFC 10).

Source

Obtained by PCR from genomic DNA.
