Description
This construct contains a constitutive promoter (BBa_J23106) followed by gentamycin resistance surrounded by lox sites. This part will allow expression from a downstream reporter from the constitutive promoter when Cre is expressed. Thus, one can initiated expression of Cre from an inducible promoter, and have constitutive expression of a reporter and loss of gentamycin resistance.
