Sequences BBa_K638403_sequence (Version 1)

Description

This construct is a reflectin A1 protein with a TorA signal peptide on the N terminus, and superfolder GFP (sfGFP) fused at the C-terminus. The reflectin A1 sequence is codon-optimized for E coli. The TorA signal peptide has been shown to allow export of GFP via the twin arginine pathway. The pBAD promoter is inducible with arabinose.

Notes

NA

Source

This construct was assembled from its parts using Gibson Assembly.
The reflectin A1 sequence was kindly provided by Dr Wendy Crookes-Goodson.
The TorA tag was synthesised in two overlapping pieces, which were combined by PCR.
