Notes

We had to make sure that the Lac Repressor had the stop codon removed so that we could make a fusion protein. We also had to make sure that the BFP was yeast codon optimized.

The lac responsive repressor was pcr amplified from a part that was submitted last year by the uOttawa team (BBa_K319007). The BFP was synthesized by Mr. Gene to be yeast codon optimized.
