Description

This part contains BBa_K750001 and BBa_K750006. Activated by arabinose, this device will produce protein LuxI and protein LuxR. The LuxI protein synthesizes a small, diffusible acyl-homoserinelactone (AHL) signaling molecule. The AHL accumulates as the cell density increases, and it will bind with the protein luxR at a high concentration. The LuxR-AHL can activate the promoter LuxPR, and finally lead to expression of protein GFP.
