Description
The motA gene codes for a part of the flagellar motor complex. MotA proteins represent the proton conducting component of this molecular machine. Thus it is necessary for flagellar rotation.Here we used 3 different constitutive Anderson promoters from the 2006 Berkeley group to test how different levels of constitutive motA expression affect the motility or flagellum size of E. coli.
