    Description

    BBa_K788002 can be transcribe into pri-miRNA and then finally processed into mature amiRNA designed to interfere mammal's PGC1-α expression. This gene came originally from Arabidopsis thaliana. Replacement of its natural miRNA segment to a designed one is used to produce artificial miRNAs.

    You can redesign this part into generator for other ami-RNA, and make it by overlapping RCR or Gibson Assembly easily. Detail for this method please visit "http://2012.igem.org/Team:Nanjing-China".

    Notes

    The backbone of this part has been documented a high efficient natural mi-RNA generator in Arabidopsis and other green plant.
