Sequences BBa_K812014_sequence (Version 1)

Description

This device is ment for the co-expression of IaaH and IaaM gene in the same cell in tadpole. The creation of polysistronic mRNA in tadpole doesn't work very well. This is why the two proteins are fused with a self cleavable peptide domain Pep2A which allow the protein to be transcribed as a single peptide that is after cleaved in two different proteins that fold later on.

This part is to create auxin in tadpole as the emmitor device of our sythetic hormonal system. Have a look at our wiki to undersand how this system is supposed to work: http://2012.igem.org/Team:Evry/FrenchFrog.

This part can be used in an oviparian plasmid such as pSC2+ (see K812000)

Notes

This part has been assembled using golden gate technique. The biobrick site are a bit different than the usual one but can still be assembled using the RFC 10 system.

Source

The different protein has been amplified from the bacterial auxin production device of iGEM Imperial 2011 K515100
