Description
This lacZ gene is derived from the Bacillus reporter vector pAC6. It is constructed in the Freiburg Standard (Assembly 25) for in-frame fusion proteins. It also includes a Shine-Dalgarno Sequence optimized for Bacillus subtilis translation.
Notes
We constructed the part in the Freiburg standard (assembly 25) for inframe fusion-proteins. There is a Shine-Dalgarno Sequence included between the XbaI and the NgoIV restriction site. It can be used for both N and C terminal fusions.
