Sequences BBa_K895004_sequence (Version 1)

Description

This is a coding part comprising the full open reading frame of Salmonella enterica LT2 hcp gene (also known as STM0289 or tssD) linked via an haemagglutinin eptitope tag to a synthetic gene encoding an endolysin from the CD27 bacteriophage. The CD27 endolysin is believed to have high specificity against the cell wall of Clostridium difficile.

Notes

None in this case.

Source

The hcp section is derived from BBa_K895001, which was used as a PCR template, and the endolysin section is derived from a plasmid constructed by Neil Fairweather's group at Imperial College London.
