Description

This construct was developed by Northwestern's 2012 iGEM team as part of a phytase producing vector meant to self lyse in high chloride and low pH conditions. The device is designed to constitutively produce CLC-EC1, a chloride-hydrogen antiporter that pumps protons out of the cell and chloride ions into the cell in acidic conditions.

Notes

None besides primer design for pcring the CLC-ec1
