Description
This is a gene which can be incorporated or transformed in algae by which we can monitor their growth, as this gene encodes for a green fluorescent protein. This protein has also been adapted to be expressed within plants.
Notes
I have used DNA 2.0 as a tool to get the nucleotide sequence incorporated in Arabidopsis.
