    Description

    Beta subunit of aromatic ring hydroxylating dioxygenase found in Mycobacterium sp. KMS. This protein is used in the pathway identified to degrade pyrene and other polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons.

    Notes

    The amino acid sequence was used to back-translate into a DNA sequence more compatible with E. coli codon encoding through DNA 2.0.
