    Description

    ScrR is in the LacI family for operon repression. It negatively regulates by binding as a repressor to the promoter. In the presence of sucrose it is deactivated and transcription can occur.

    Notes

    Checked for RE sites. Also had to find how it is promoted because it appears to be immediatly downstream from the gene it regulates
