Description
QseC is a quorum sensing histidine kinase derived from Escherichia coli. It autophosphorylates when bound by either of the catecholamines epinephrine and norepinephrine, or one of the autoinducers AI-2 and AI-3. Activated QseC then phosphorylates the cognate response regulator QseB, which induces flhDC.
Notes
The design was codon optimized and designed to exclude restriction sites for BsaI.
