Description

This is the coding sequence of the Fluorescent Protein mCherry.

Notes

The atg codon was added at the beginning of the sequence. The authors reported at the Addgene website that: “Addgene's sequencing results found K128R and Q193P mutations in mCherry. These mutations are not known to affect plasmid function”.
