Description
SapI is an offsite cutter restriction site. The recognition sequence for this enzyme is the 8 bp sequence GCTCTTCN (on the 5' strand). Cleavage at this site results in a 3 bp, 3' overhang (right side, bottom strand) directly downstream of this sequence. This specific part has a T in the 8th position.Notes
