Description
This construct is built by modifying the promoter sequence of Original Nitrate Biosensor (J100237), which inserts narG promoter sequence into pClone Red (J119137) through GGA. The promoter sequence is modified by trimming the left Fis binding site, where an inhibitory regulator bind. The modified promoter is inserted into pClone Red (J119137). Nitrate induces the promoter, so RFP is expressed when nitrate is present.Notes
