Description

We inserted a non-functional version of the OmpR promoter in actClone Red. Because the OmpC binding sites have been scrambled, the promoter does not function to allow transcription of the downstream RFP. We will use this part as a negative control when using actClone Red to test the effects of modifications to the OmpR promoter on its ability to promote transcription.
