Description
This is a fusion of Jun to the beta-autotransporter domain of the immunoglobulin A (IgA) protease of Neisseria gonorrhoea (IgA beta) and to the N-terminus of yellow fluorescent protein (YFP). The IgA beta should target the protein to the cell surface, and the Jun should bind Fos. If the bound Fos contains a C-terminus of a fluorescent protein, fluorescence is expected to result.
Notes
The sequence contained an EcoRI site that was removed by converting it to a Mun I site using oligo-based mutagenesis. Three Pst I sites are still found within the gene and will be removed at a later date by site-specific mutagenesis.
