Description
This plasmid contains the front and rear end of the AraB gene flanking either end of a polylinker. It also contains a kanamycin resistance gene which allows confirmation of homologous recombination onto the chromosome.
Notes
The flanking homologous regions and drug resistance gene frame a six restriction site poly-linker. Adjacent restriction sites had to be chosen for compatible double digestion to facilitate proper insert orientation.
