Description

This Constitutively Expressed Red Light Sensor Operon is an assembly of the constitutive promoter BBa_J23100, a strong RBS BBa_B0034, red light sensor Cph8 and a reliable terminator BBa_B0015. The blue light sensor utilized here consists of the Cph8-OmpR system (Levskaya et al., 2005, Tabor et al., 2011).

Notes

The expression level of Red Light Sensor shall be delicately controlled, so as to acquire continuous adjustment (regulation) of target genes.

Source

The red light sensor originates from cyanobacteria.
