Sequences BBa_K1718003_sequence (Version 1)

Description

The part consists of LuxR followed by the AHL inducible LuxPr promoter which is placed in front of RFP.
This part contains BBa_F2620 which is composed of a constitutive TetR promoter which produces the LuxR transcription factor. Followed by that is the LuxPr promoter, which is induced when a N-acyl-homoserine-lactone molecule binds to the LuxR transcription factor. Following this promoter is the reporter RFP.

Notes

We removed the promoter from BBa_J04450. The TetR promoter and LuxR gene are necessary for induction of the promoter.

Source

The LuxR part is BBa_F2620 from the 2015 iGEM Distribution Kit. RFP or BBa_J04450 was also obtained from the 2015 iGEM Distribution Kit.
