Sequences BBa_K1732001_sequence (Version 1)

Description

J23100 Promoter with a RBS (BBa_S04423), CDcel domain, Gaussia princeps luciferase, and a B0015 terminator. Allows Gaussia luciferase to be constitutively transcribed and translated. Luminescence can be expressed by reacting the luciferase product with coelenterazine.

Notes

The sequence is codon optimized for E.coli.

The plasmid was used to produce Gaussia princeps luciferase proteins that would express luminescence when reacted with an optimal concentration of 1 uM coelenterazine. The CDcel domain allowed for the proteins to be secreted into the media (extracellular) which was both the expected and observed location.
