Description

EnvZ is part of the EnvZ-OmpR two-component regulatory system for controlling osmotic pressure in E.coli. Structure includes a C-terminal V5-tag through a GGSSAAG linker. The part was used in a pRD400 backbone behind a lac-inducible promoter to study signaling as well as expression.

Notes

Sequence includes illegal restirction site EcorI at 315-321 bp. Removed through site-directed mutagenesis exchanging A317G .
