Description

This part was designed by the IISER Pune Team as a part of the oscillator module in our project. It contains the LacI protein coding sequence followed by the double terminator.

Notes

The oscillator module depends on the binding of lacI to its binding site to repress the promoter. It was necessary to find a LacI protein coding sequence with a degradation tag so it would not bring in any time lag in these oscillations.
