Description

This is an improved version of [[Part:BBa_K584021|BBa_K584021]], which encodes the ice nucleating protein gene inaZ from Pseudomonas syringae. Two BsaI sites have been removed to make the part safe for Golden Gate cloning.

Notes

The many repeats in this gene seem to make this sequence virtually impossible to synthesize, even after changing the codons used. Over-expression of this part at high levels is toxic.

Source

This part was based on [[Part:BBa_K584021|BBa_K584021]].
