Sequences BBa_K1949051_sequence (Version 1)

Description

This gene codes for protein AmiE. AmiE is an acylase that is capable of degrading long chain N-acyl homoserine lactone (AHL) molecules with acyl chains longer than six carbons.

Notes

We applied a site-specific mutation to the amiE in order to destroy a recognition site of EcoRI. We changed the 291th base A to G.

Source

This gene was isolated from Acinetobacter sp. strain Ooi24. We artificially synthesized this.
