sequence_feature

Sequences BBa_K322710_sequence (Version 1)

Description

This is a composite part containing the positive selection marker cat (chloramphenicol resistance) and the negative selection marker sacB (lethal to host in the presence of sucrose) fused to the up and down stream sequences of tnaA, the indole-producing gene. This construct can be used in the BRIDGE protocol for targeted deletion/replacement of tnaA in E.coli.

Notes

We had to ensure there were no intrinsic restriction sites left between the sequences.

Source

Fusion of parts from E.coli and B.subtilis as well as a designed part.
