Description
The Beta-carotene 15'15'-monooxygenase generator from the D. melanogaster ninaB gene, cleaves beta-carotene into two retinal molecules. Used together with BBa_274210 (beta-carotene generator) it should induce retinal biosynthesis in e. coli.
Notes
A constitutive sigma-70 promotor was chosen. Terminator is lacking on this part.
