Description
This part is composed of an inducible AHL promoter (F2620), an RNA tag, a ribosome binding site (B0034), RFP (E1010), and a terminator (B1006). This is one of the four subsystems utilized in detecting a ratio (see Stanford iGEM 2010 project). AHL induces the production of an mRNA transcript, and if no sRNA2 is present (see part ), this can then be translated into RFP.
Notes
We designed the RSID2 tag. It was developed as to not interfere with E. coli's native genome and to be bound by sRNA2 (see part ).
Source
This part is assembled from other parts found in the registry (except for the RSID tag).
