Description
This GFP has been fused with the signal sequence for the alpha-hemolysin system to enable this peptide to be secreted by all E.coli and even other species with the generic trans membrane protein complex made by proteins coded by genes hlyB and hlyD.Notes
Apart from creating the fusion so that the stop codon is avoided and the frame does not shift, one of the Biobrick restriction sites PstI is also present in the part.Source
Created from chimeric PCR using BBa_E0840 and the hemolysin determinant from the plasmid pANN202-812 obtained from the Karolinska Instituet, Solna Sweden.
