Description

This reporter part is obtained from combining the BBa_R2000 Constitutive Promoter (pC) and the BBa_E0240 Green Fluorescence Protein (GFP) Composite. This part is made to provide the user with a simple, constitutive genetic device that contains green fluorescence protein. It can be used to build a larger plasmid construct, provide a signal baseline in analyzing gene expression, or simply characterize any of its part. After this part is transformed into the bacteria, the resulting colonies will appear green in 1 or 2 days.
