Description

The Spacer/Repeat Region part has been extracted from the Streptococcus Thermophilus LMD9 genome sequence. If inserted along with the CRISPR protein system on a shuttling vector with the Spacer/Repeat region, we hope that the spacer/repeat region should express itself and make bacteria resistant to which the spacer region is homologous.

Notes

So, the entire Repeat/Spacer Region is 1400bp but since it had a SpeI site at 500 bp and we were unable to mutate it. So, we cut it at the 500bp and just used that our part.
