Description
This is the distal region of the mid length Adh1 promoter (BBa_K319005) submitted last year by the uOttawa team fused to the proximal region of the Gal10/1 promoter. It is a constitutively expressing chimeric promoter. It is also tagged with the reporter yeGFP (BBa_K319039) also submitted by the uOttawa team last year.
Notes
The yeGFP part from last year didn't have a stop codon. In PCR amplification of this part, we added a stop codon to the reverse primer.
Source
The distal region of the Adh1 promoter was PCR amplified from a plasmid source of BBa_K319005 and using overlap extension PCR was fused to the amplified proximal region of the Gal10/1 promoter. The Gal10/1 promoter is commonly used in our lab and we amplified it from a plasmid source. yeGFP was PCR amplified from a plasmid source of BBa_K319039.
