Description
This reporter can be used in combination with the expression of a G-protein coupled receptor in yeast. The Fus1 promoter is a promoter in the mating pathway (a G-protein coupled receptor pathway. If the receptor of this pathway is activated by the pheromone of the opposite mating type the mating pathway is activated and the Fus1 promoter is switched on.Notes
