Sequences BBa_K895007_sequence (Version 1)

Description

This is a biosensor comprising the engineered Salmonella TtrRS twon-component system from BBa_K895003 linked to GFP from BBa_K895006, which was originally supplied in BBa_J54103. The concept is that, primarily under anaerobic conditions, the two-component system will sense tetrathionate and induce GFP production.

Notes

The GFP ATG is positioned immediately downstream of an engineered BamHI site. This places the start codon at exactly the correct distance from the ttrB RBS.

Source

This a combination of BBa_K895003 and BBa_K895006 cloned together by PCR.
