Sequences BBa_M1208_sequence (Version 1)

Description

This part is an intermediate of the completed kill gene, including the anti-holin portion of the construct only. It consists of a constitutive promoter, RBS, antiholin sequence, and terminator. The constitutive promoter has low levels of activity and is meant to neutralize any holin that is incidentally expressed. This low level of activity should not greatly impact the efficacy of the holin when it is to be expressed.

Notes

Constitutive promoter should have the correct levels of activity in order to be effective but not to prevent the efficacy of the holins when they are meant to be expressed.
