Sequences BBa_M36900_sequence (Version 1)

Description

This part is an NaCl sensor, mainly combining stress-inducible transcription factors from plants with eukaryotic constitutive promoters and terminators, in order to construct an effective salt-sensing mechanism in HeLa (mammalian) cells, that could later be placed upstream of particular naturally encoded endocytosis genes in HeLa cells, to iduce their expression as a way of increasing salt tolerance in mammalian cells.

Notes

couple the DREB1A gene with a friendly PoPS promoter than would not foster retardation of plants/cell death while building stress tolerance
