Sequences BBa_M36928_sequence (Version 1)

Description

This device combines a medium strength RBS, a coding sequence for the beta-glucosidase enzyme, and a strong terminator (99% efficiency). It takes an input of PoPS and produces a translated enzyme BglA1 as an output.

Notes

The medium strength RBS was chosen so as to translate enough protein but not too much to have negative impacts in the cells. The strong terminator was chosen to ensure that transcription stopped at the location we wanted. The RBS and terminator were taken from the BioFab Registry, so they were standardized for functional and physical composition.

Source

This part is a composite of BBa_M36282, BBa_M36235, and the genomic sequence for the BglA1 gene from Shewanella frigidimarina, which is identified as BBa_M36926.
