Description

GeneHogs is a phage-resistant variant of DH10B (see [[www.invitrogen.com/content/sfs/manuals/genehogs_man.pdf]]. GH371 is an upp mutant of GeneHogs generated by lambda-red recombination.

GH371 is resistant to ~10 ug/mL 5-Fluorouracil and has been used for negative genetic selections (See Chin and coworkers: [http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?db=pubmed&cmd=Retrieve&dopt=Abstract&list_uids=16408021&query_hl=5&itool=pubmed_docsum]
