TetR-promoter driven chimeric receptor containing the N-terminal transmembrane sensor domain (1..442) of the quorum-sensing receptor LuxN from Vibrio harveyi fused to the C-terminal signaling domain (260..551) of the E.coli MCP receptor, Tsr. The domains are linked by an NdeI site (translation = 'HM').
