Description
The GFP reporter protein was put under the control of the BBa_J23118 costitutive promoter. The reporter sequence was spaced from the promoter by the addition of the BBa_C0012 sequence without the RBS. This construct was design as an expression control plasmid.Notes
Since we had to work with many constructs that have the GFP reporter protein downstream the LacI repressor protein (BBa_C0012) under the control of the Lac promoter, we decided to design this composite part as an expression control. Infact, we espected GFP production to be lower if any Dna sequence was inserted between the promoter and the reporter.Source
