Description

A reporter gene (GFP) from Aequorea victoria that is induced via an osmotic stress input. Ompc promoter, from E. coli, is induced by interactions with phosphorylated OmpR protein, which is itself phosphorylated by the two-component histidine kinase, EnvZ, an osmotic sensor.
