Description
This part contains an RBS (BBa_B0034), a promoter (lacI inducible; BBa_R0010), a coding region (PgeChia 1-1; BBa_K1298001) and a terminator. It is in a pSB1C3 backbone. With this, the chitinase protein is created. Chitinase breaks down chitin, a substance found in the exoskeleton of arthropods (spiders, insects, etc.) and in the cell walls of fungi.
